Instant Rava Dosa

Ingredients :

Suji/Rava - 2 cups

Rice flour - 1 cup

Water - 2 1/4 cups

Ginger - 1 teaspoon chopped/grated

Green chillies - 2 chopped

Cashewnuts - few

Coconut - 2 tablespoon grated

Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon

Peppercorns - 1/2 teaspoon

Hing - a pinch

Oil - as required


Method :

Blend rava, rice flour and water to make a thin water. Add all the remaining ingredients except oil and if required add water to get a thin batter. The batter has to be flowing and thin. Heat a tava and pour the batter with a ladle by starting from the edges and then moving towards the centre. Spread oil over the dosa and let it cook on medium flame. When the top side looks cooked and the bottom has become little crisp turn it over. Serve this dosa with sambhar and/or chutney of your choice. You can also add onion to make onion rava dosa and the potato stuffing to make rava masala dosa.
