Ingredients :
For the Pav
Pav - 6 nos
Butter - 2 tablespoon
Chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
pav bhaji masala powder- 1 teaspoon
For the Bhaji
Tomatoes - 3 nos
Capsicum - 1 chopped
Onions - 2 nos
Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Pav Bhaji powder - 1 1/2 table spoon
Potatoes - 2 Boiled
Kasoori Methi - 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves - few sprigs
Green Peas - 1/2 cup Boiled
Asafoetida - 1/2 teaspoon
Lime - 1 no
Method :
Heat butter in a pan. Sauté capsicum and little water to soften the capsicum. Add chopped tomatoes, mashed potatoes, peas, chilly powder, ginger - garlic paste, turmeric powder and little more water and mix well. Now add butter and stir till the vegetables become mushy. Sprinkle some pav bhaji masala, coriander leaves and stir. In another pan heat butter, add chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, chilly powder, pav bhaji masala powder, asafoetida, lime juice and kasoori methi and sauté well. Add this to the pav bhaji masala and mix well. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
Heat butter in a pan, add chilly powder and pav bhaji masala powder and toast the pav.
Serve hot with chopped onions and lemon wedges.
