Grilled Masala and cheese Sandwich


Ingredients :



Brown Bread - 8 slices

Cheese - 4 slices

Butter - for grilling

Onion - 2  chopped

Tomatoes - 2 chopped

Salt - as per taste

Chilly powder - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder -  a pinch

Coriander leaves - a few sprigs chopped finely


Method :

Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and saute them till translucent. Add the tomatoes, salt, turmeric and chilly powder and saute them till they are soft. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Keep this aside. 




Butter the bread from one side and place it on a hot grill/ sandwich maker/tava and add a spoonful of the onion tomato mixture and place a slice above it. Cover it with another slice of bread and grill it till it gets golden colour and the cheese melts.











* You can make this sandwich without cheese also. 
This sandwich is perfect for your kids snack box to school.
