Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients :


Yellow pumpkin - 2 cups (diced)

Onion - 1 big (diced)

Black peppercorns - 1 teaspoon

Turmeric powder - a pinch

Salt - to taste

Cream (Optional) - for garnish

Oil - 1 teaspoon



Method :

Heat oil in a pan and saute diced onions till they are translucent. Add diced pumpkin, peppercorns, turmeric powder and salt and saute. Add little water and pressure cook for one whistle, Once it is cool blend it in a mixer, Serve hot and garnish it with cream and cilantro.
