Ingredients :
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Khoya - 4 tablespoons
Onion - 1 chopped finely
Green chilies - 2 chopped finely
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Red chilly powder - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Cilantro - finely chopped
Ghee/butter - 1 tablespoon
Salt - to taste
Water - for the dough
Method :
In a bowl add the wheat flour, salt and water and knead well to make a dough. Keep it aside and let it rest for half an hour. For the stuffing, in a bowl, add khoya, ginger paste, green chillies, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, onion, garam masala powder, cilantro and mix well. To make paranthas, make balls of the dough and roll them with the help of a rolling pin. Now place the stuffing inside and seal the edges. Now roll them again and flatten them into a disc shape. Heat a tava and place the parantha and let it cook from one side, Turn it over and apply little ghee/butter and let it cook from both sides till golden brown. Serve hot.
