Ingredients :
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Paneer - 1 cup
Onion - 1 finely chopped
Green peas - 1 cup
Ginger - 1 inch finely chopped
Green chillies - 2 finely chopped
Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder (dhaniya) - 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder (jeera) - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
Water - little
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Method :
Prepare a dough of wheat flour salt and little water as you would for normal rotis. Let it rest for half an hour. Heat a pan, add cumin seeds and once they crackle add crumbled paneer, crushed green peas, chopped green chillies and ginger (you can also make a paste) and all the dry powders and mix well. Saute well and mix in corriander leaves. Let it cool.
Divide the dough into equal portions and roll a portion of the dough into a circle. Place a little stuffing in the centre of the circle. Bring together all the sides in the centre and seal tightly. Roll again into a circle with a little flour. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook the paratha by brushing little water on both the sides.Repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing to make more parathas. Serve immediately with fresh curds and pickle.
