Deconstructed peanut chakli





Ingredients :


Rice flour - 1 and 3/4 cup

Peanut (roasted and withou skin) - 1 cup

Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Red chilly powder - 1 and 1/2 tablespoon

Asafoetida - 1 teaspoon

Butter (softened) - 2 tablespoon

Salt - to taste

Oil - for frying


Method :

Grind the peanuts with a cup of water to make a fine paste. In a bowl, add in the rice flour, sesame seeds, asafoetida, red chilly powder, salt, butter and the peanut paste and mix well. Make a soft and smooth dough by adding little water. With the help of a chakli maker drop enough chakli dough and deep fry in hot oil but on a medium flame until they turn golden brown from both sides. Store them in air-tight containers.
