Yam Tikkis










Ingredients :



Yam - 1 cup boiled and mashed

Green peas - 1/2 cup boiled and mashed

Ginger - Garlic - Green chilly paste - 1 tablespoon

Red chilly Powder - 1/2 tablespoon

Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Anardana(dry pomegranate ) powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Rose water - 1 teaspoon

Almond powder - 1 tablespoon

Cilantro (dhaniya)

Oil - for frying

Salt - to taste



Method :


Pressure cook the yam pieces until they are soft and mash them. To  it, add mashed green peas and all the above ingredients except oil and shape them into  tikkis. Heat a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both the sides. Serve them with chutney.
