Ingredients :
For the Tikki :
Paneer - 1 cup
Sweet corn - 1 cup
Maida - 3 Tablespoon
Green chillies - 2
Black Pepper powder - 1 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves (dhaniya)
Salt - to taste
Oil - for shallow frying
For the Masala :
Brown onion paste - 2 Tablespoon
Cashew Paste - 1 Tablespoon
Ginger- Garlic paste - 1 Teaspoon
Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Yogurt 2 tablespoon
Coriander leaves
Oil
Salt to taste
Method :
In a large bowl mix all the ingredients mentioned above for the tikki and make a dough. Divide the dough into small roundels and shape them into tikkis. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry on both sides till they are golden brown in colour.
For the gravy, heat oil in a pan, add ginger-garlic paste and saute. Add cashew paste and saute further. Add little water if needed. Add salt, red chilly powder, garam masala powder and mix well. let it cook for a minute. Add the brown onion paste and saute for a minute. Add yogurt and mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Just before serving, place the tikkis on the serving dish and pour the gravy on top of the tikkis and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
