Healthy Garlic Soup







Ingredients :

Garlic 20 pods

Onions 4 nos. 

Salt to taste

Oil 2 Tbsp

Water - 2 cups

Crushed black pepper 


Method :

Heat oil in a saucepan and fry the garlic pods on medium flame till they are soft. Add diced onions and fry till they are translucent. Pour 2 cups of water, add salt and cover and cook for 10 minutes. Alternatively, it can be pressure cooked for 1 whistle. Let it cool and grind it to a puree. Check the consistency and accordingly water can be added if need be. Pour the soup in to the saucepan and check the seasoning. Add crushed black pepper and serve it hot.
