Crispy corn





Ingredients :

Sweet corn - 1 cup

Green capsicum -1 chopped

Onion - 1 finely chopped

Ginger - finely chopped

Garlic - finely chopped

Dry red chilly - 3 

Corn flour - 2 Tablespoon

Wheat Flour - 1 Tablespoon

Schezwan sauce 2 Tablespoon

Black pepper powder - few(crushed)

White pepper powder - 1/2 Teaspoon

Spring onion - finely chopped

Oil - 1 Tablespoon

Honey - 1 Teaspoon

Salt - to taste


Method :

Boil corn with salt for 7 to 8 minutes and then drain the water and pour cold or normal water. Keep it aside. Once it's dry transfer them into a bowl and add  corn flour, salt, crushed black peppercorns, oil and wheat flour. Mix it well and let it sit for 10 minutes. Air fry them at 200 degrees Celcius for 15 minutes or till they are crisp and golden brown in colour. Alternatively, you can deep fry in hot oil till crisp. Heat  a teaspoon of oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic, onion and fry them. Now add capsicum and salt and continue to fry till the onions are golden brown and the capsicum are soft but still firm. Add ground red chilly paste, salt, schezwan sauce and white pepper powder. Give it a good stir and add the whites of spring onion and the honey. Now add the air fried corns to it and mix well. Garnish with chopped spring onion. Serve hot.
