Ingredients :
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Garlic - 2-3 cloves chopped
Water - for kneading
Active Dry Yeast - 1 Teaspoon
Milk - 1/4 cup
Yogurt - 2 Tablespoon
Sugar - 1 Teaspoon
Oil - 1/2 Teaspoon
Coriander Leaves - to garnish
Salt - to taste
Method :
Add yeast and sugar in lukewarm water and let it bloom for 5 to 10 minutes. Once the yeast is activated add lukewarm milk, yogurt and oil. Now add flour and slt and mix until combined. Knead the dough well, cover it and keep it aside for an hour. The dough will be more than double after an hour. Punch the dough lightly to release the air. Grease your hands and divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Cover the dough balls and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes. In the meanwhile in a bowl take the chopped garlic, salt, coriander leaves, chaat masala and mix well. Take a dough ball and apply oil on top of it and also on the roller. Do not use flour for rolling. Roll it into an oval shape and stretch it from all sides. Put the chopped garlic mixture on top of the naan and press it gently. Transfer the rolled naan on to the hot pan and let it cook for a couple of minutes until you see bubbles on top. Brush the naan with butter or oil and turn over. Cook it on both sides till they turn golden brown. Garnish with coriander leaves. I air fried these naan at 200 degrees celcius for 6 to 9 minutes. Apply water on one side of the naan and place it on the air fryer. Once the bubbles are formed on the top side of the naan brush it with little butter and continue to air fry for few more minutes. serve hot.
