Tava pulao






























Ingredients :


Rice - 1 cup cooked

Butter - 1 Teaspoon

Oil - 1 Teaspoon

Cumin seeds - 1 Teaspoon

Onion - 1 sliced

Tomatoes - 2 Sliced

Ginger garlic paste - 1 Tablespoon

Red Chilly paste - 2 Tablespoon

Capsicum - 1 finely chopped

French Beans - few finely chopped

Cabbage - 1/2 cup shredded

Carrot - 1 finely chopped

Baby corn - 4 finely chopped

Green peas - few Cooked or frozen

Paav Bhaji masala powder - 2 Tablespoon

Red chilly powder -  1 Tablespoon

Lime Juice - 1 Teaspoon

coriander leaves - for garnish


Method :

Cook the rice till just done and drain the excess water and let it cool. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, ginger - garlic paste and onion. fry them till onions starts to sweat. Add all the above vegetables, salt and mix well. Now mix the red chilly paste, cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Add in the rice, lime juice and paav bhaji masala powder and give it a good stir. Garnish with coriander leaves.


Notes :

To make red chilly paste, soak 4 kashmiri red chillies along with 2 pods of garlic and few cumin seeds in water for 10 minutes. Grind them to a fine paste.
