2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1.5 cups sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Method :
Heat oven to 180 degrees C. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and set aside. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy, scrapping side of bowl occasionally. Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth. Stir in the flour mixture and blend it well. Stir in the chocolate chips and drop the dough (approx 1 tablespoonful and 2 inches apart) onto a greased tray or ungreased parchment paper. Bake them for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown, Cool for 2 minutes and remove from the baking tray to cooling rack. Cool completely and store in air tight container.
