Caramel Coconut Laddoo

Coconut laddoo are traditional Indian sweet balls made with mainly basic three ingredients and there are more than one ways to do it. Usually they are made during festivities but my family loves them and it's so easy to make I end up making them quite often. I've shared below the most easiest recipe for this laddoo as it hardly takes 10 minutes. This is the basic recipe and can be improvised with different flavors like Paan, Mango, Rose and many more.

Prep time : 1 min

Cooking time : 5 mins

Ingredients :

1 Can Caramel condensed milk

2 1/2 cups + 4 tablespoons Desiccated coconut

2 tablespoons powdered almonds and cashew nuts

1 tablespoon Ghee

1 teaspoon cardamom powder

Method:

Heat a pan, add the desiccated coconut and roast the coconut but don't brown them. Add in the caramel condensed milk  and mix well. Keep stirring regularly and the mixture begins to thicken. When the fat starts to leave the sides of the pan. switch off the flame. Add the powdered nuts and the cardamom powder. Mix well and let it cool. When the mixture has cooled completely, apply little ghee to your palms and shape them into your desired shape or medium sized balls. Roll them in desiccated coconut evenly. Serve them right away.
